Ray Show Horses is located in Stewartville, MN just minutes from downtown Rochester and a couple of miles from Rochester Int. Airport.  Located on 35 acres, Ray Show Horses provides quality boarding and World caliber training and coaching.  With a 26 stall heated barn, heated indoor arena, and wash rack you can enjoy your horse hobby all year round.

Ray Show Horses is owned and operated by Jeff and Angela Ray. Both competed extensively as youth members of the Appaloosa Horse Club. In 1997 Jeff was hired as trainer and barn manager for Desierault Appaloosas in Germany.  Jeff taught daily lessons, developed a feeding program for 35 head of horses, trained 10-13 show horses each month and was involved with the breeding program.  During his 18 months in Germany Jeff won 2 Bavarian National Championships, 13 German National Championships and had numerous high points and futurity wins.

Jeff returned back to Nebraska in 1999 to train and show Appaloosas. He won the 1999 National High Point awards for Senior Western Pleasure and 2 Year Old Western Pleasure for the Appaloosa Horse Club.

In 2000 Jeff moved to Texas to work for Andrea Simons of Simons Show Horses.  He trained 3 horses that finished in the Top Five at the Paint World Show.

In 2002 Jeff and his wife opened Ray Horses Horses Inc. in Rochester, MN.  In 2003 they opened their new custom built facility on the other side of Rochester.  Since Jeff has been in Minnesota he has trained 2 ApHC Youth World Champions, 2 Reserve ApHC Youth World Champions, 2 IBHA Reserve World Champions, 20 Canadian National Champions, and numerous Top Five placers at the ApHC Youth World, IBHA World, ApHC Nationals, ApHC World, and Canadian Appaloosa Nationals. His clients have won numerous high points, year end awards,  and futurities.  Currently Jeff has 26 horses in the facility year round.  From longe line to trail, walk-trot to amateur Ray Show Horses has produced winners year after year and looks forward to continuing that tradition. 

Angela Ray has also shown with a great amount of success. She has won numerous Canadian National Championships, an APHA World Championship, and numerous ApHC Year End High Point Awards such as Non-Pro Western Rider of the Year.  Angela competes in Non-Pro events and helps Jeff run the office at Ray Show Horses.
